Online Pharmacy


Oradell Animal Hospital’s pharmacy is available to dispense medications and prescription diets for patients that have been seen within a 12 month period. Please note we cannot dispense prescription products without a chart, exam and an authorized prescription from a veterinarian.

On-Site Pharmacy Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9:00a-7:30p

Saturday: 9:00a-5:00p

Sunday: 9:00a-5:00p

Please allow us 5-7 days to fulfill your request. When the prescription has been filled a member of our team will contact you for pickup.

Pharmacy Return Policy

We do not, by federal law, accept returns of Controlled Substances or Chemotherapy Drugs under any circumstances.  Clients who need to return any prescription drug will be directed to facilities that are authorized to accept these medications.

We can only accept returns of medications under very specific circumstances, and the return(s) must occur within 7 days of the date of purchase. Acceptable reasons include:  

  • An unforeseen side effect from the prescribed medication
  • A client’s inability to administer the current form of the product (i.e., pill vs liquid)
  • A change in the doctor’s orders after test results are obtained
  • The unfortunate death of a pet

If we make an error in dispensing medication, we will correct the error at no cost.

Return of Prescription Diets: 

  • Any prescription food purchased within 30 days (open or sealed) will be refunded in full, including special order foods.

  • Any prescription food purchased over 30 days (open or sealed) will not eligible refunded or return, including special order foods.

No Longer Authorizing Third Party Online Prescriptions as of February 2020

Our pharmacy staff strives to provide our clients with accurate and timely refills for all prescriptions.  The overwhelming number of prescription requests from third party online pharmacies is interfering with our ability to respond to refill requests in a reasonable amount of time. To continue to provide excellent service, we have made the difficult decision to no longer authorize prescriptions from third party pharmacies via fax or phone. If you prefer to use a third party online pharmacy, we are happy to provide you with a written script.
