Dr. Veronica Canizo is part of Oradell Animal Hospital’s Emergency and Critical Care team, where she provides skilled, compassionate care to pets in their most critical moments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seton Hall University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Canizo completed both a rotating internship and a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Oradell Animal Hospital, joining the team in 2017.
Her professional interests include acute kidney injury, urinary obstructions, and toxin exposure. Dr. Canizo is especially passionate about giving hope to pets and families facing serious or complicated medical situations.
