Paying for Your Pet’s Care

At Oradell Animal Hospital, we aim to be completely transparent about our costs. That’s why, when a member of our team discusses your pet’s care with you, they’ll also discuss the cost of that care before services are performed so you know exactly what’s involved. We also strive to take the stress out of paying for your pet’s care, so we offer a variety of payment options.

When Payment Is Required

Effective as of September 1st, payment is due in full at the time services are provided, unless your insurance participates in our direct pay program.
 
Insurance claim assistance is available for direct pay admissions with the select providers listed below, with the exception of Trupanion, which we also accept for outpatient service claims. For all other visits, services, and insurance providers, clients are responsible for submitting claims directly to their insurance company. Including admissions paid in full by the client.

Pet Health Insurance

Pet insurance can provide peace of mind if your pet needs surgery or other more intensive treatments. Some plans cover routine wellness care, too.

For your convenience, here’s more information about how pet insurance works and a list of pet insurance companies we’re familiar with. Most pet health insurance carriers work on a reimbursement model. Research each company carefully and select the one that works best for you and your family.
