In 2021, Dr. Latrech graduated from NYU and immediately pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. During veterinary school, she completed externships at hospitals across England and along the U.S. East Coast, gaining diverse and valuable clinical experience. Her passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood—she spent recess planning her future clinic with friends. As she grew, her love for biology, medicine, and animals only deepened, making her career path feel truly meant to be.

Dr. Latrech's first job as a teenager was at a wildlife rehab clinic on the Upper West Side. At the same time, she would volunteer at a cat and dog shelter and was an extern at the Staten Island Zoo.  She eventually started working as a veterinary assistant in Brooklyn and worked there until she left to begin Veterinary school.

Some of Dr. Latrech’s passions in veterinary medicine include anything internal medicine related, working with senior pets, and making patients feel comfortable by using fear-free handling.

During Dr. Latrech’s free time, she enjoys pilates and going on runs.
