Preparing for Your Visit to Oradell Animal Hospital

We know that visiting the veterinarian can feel stressful for both pets and their humans. At Oradell Animal Hospital, we strive to make every visit as smooth and comfortable as possible. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Arrival and Check-In: When you arrive, our team will guide you through the check-in process and ensure your pet is comfortable. For everyone’s safety, cats and exotic pets should arrive in secure carriers, and dogs must be on a leash.
  • Appointments: Each visit is designed to maximize the time spent with your veterinarian, addressing both your pet’s health needs and your questions. To help us prepare for your pet’s care, some services may require a deposit in advance.
  • Visitation Policies:
  • For routine appointments, pet parents are welcome to stay with their pets during the exam.
  • For hospitalized patients, including those recovering from surgery or receiving critical care, visitation may be limited to certain hours or to one person at a time to ensure patient safety and minimize stress. Our staff will always provide guidance and updates so you can stay informed about your pet’s condition.
  • Safety and Comfort: We maintain a calm and clean environment, and our staff are trained to handle pets with gentleness and care.
  • Preparing for Your Visit: Completing forms ahead of time helps us provide the best care without delays. You can submit forms online before your appointment to streamline check-in.

Travel Health Certificate Preparation Form

If you need a health certificate for travel with your pet, please complete and submit this form well in advance of your travel date.

Diet/Nutrition History Form

If you have a consultation scheduled with our veterinary nutritionist, please complete this form & email it to diethistory@oradell.com before your appointment.

Medical Record & Imaging Release Request Form

If you want us to transfer your pet’s medical and/or imaging records to you or another clinic, please complete and submit this form.
