Dr. Shayla Quackenbush earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University. She is passionate about helping pet owners support long, healthy, and high-quality lives for their animals—whether furry, scaled, feathered, or otherwise.
Her professional interests include toxicology and small and exotic animal emergency medicine. Dr. Quackenbush is especially drawn to the fast-paced, problem-solving nature of emergency care and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in critical situations.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Quackenbush enjoys cooking and baking, watching new horror films, and spending time at the park with her dog, where they love meeting new friends.
