Dr. Shana Coffey, DVM, is a residency-trained veterinary surgeon who completed her surgery residency at Schwarzman Animal Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University. Prior to her residency, she completed both a rotating internship and a specialty internship in surgery at Schwarzman Animal Medical Center.
Dr. Coffey chose veterinary surgery because of her passion for helping pets and their families navigate unexpected surgical emergencies and improving quality of life through surgical care. Her professional interests include minimally invasive surgical procedures and techniques, as well as veterinary and client education.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Coffey enjoys skiing, hiking, and baking.
