Dr. Michaela Cirone earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Drexel University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Long Island University. She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS) and is passionate about helping pets live longer, healthier lives through quality medical care and client education.
Drawn to veterinary medicine by a desire to support both animals and the people who love them, Dr. Cirone enjoys exploring the science behind disease processes and continually expanding her medical knowledge. She is committed to partnering with pet owners to help them become confident, informed caregivers while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Cirone’s professional interests include emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery, neurology, and internal medicine. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time in nature, wildlife photography, and discovering new places. She shares her home with two beloved cats, Ginger, a spirited calico, and Sammy, a devoted black cat. An avid traveler and collector, Dr. Cirone gathers Christmas tree ornaments from every city, country, and National Park she visits and hopes to one day explore every U.S. state and National Park.
