Dr. Joseph DeSanto earned his bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Rutgers University before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital, where he has proudly practiced since 1992.
As part of our Primary Care and Wellness team, Dr. DeSanto is dedicated to helping pets live long, healthy, and happy lives. His professional interests include dentistry and internal medicine, and he values the opportunity to form long-term relationships with clients and their pets over the years.
Dr. DeSanto is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Outside of work, he enjoys ballroom dancing and traveling, and at home, he shares life with quite the lively household—five dogs, one cat, one bearded dragon, one corn snake, one tarantula, and two fish tanks!
