Dr. Lauren Staiger earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business Administration from Fordham University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is an active member of the American Association of Fish Veterinarians (AAFV), the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association (WAVMA), and the Veterinary Business Management Association, and is passionate about the many directions a career in veterinary medicine can take.
Dr. Staiger is especially drawn to aquatic, zoo, and exotic animal medicine, with additional interests in general surgery. She values the field’s constant opportunities for growth, learning, and expanding her clinical skills while exploring diverse species and environments.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Staiger enjoys scuba diving, reading, traveling, and Broadway. She also loves spending time with her 95-pound pitbull, Garbanzo.
