At Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, we never close. We’re here for you and your pet 24/7, staffed by a team of emergency veterinarians and critical care specialists, veterinary technicians and assistants who provide timely, expert care in a medical emergency.

Our ER is fully equipped with today’s most advanced technology and resources for diagnosing, treating and monitoring critically ill pets:
Should your pet be hospitalized overnight, know that we’re staffed around the clock to provide continuous monitoring and supportive care. For more information on visiting and getting information about your hospitalized pet, please check out our FAQs.
When your pet arrives at our ER, they’ll undergo a preliminary assessment by a veterinary triage technician to determine the urgency of your pet’s need for treatment. This triage protocol is crucial because if several patients arrive at the same time, we must attend to the most critical first.
Wait times will vary depending on how critical each patient is and how many pets are currently in the hospital. We appreciate your patience and understanding and ask that you trust our triage process to ensure your pet’s waiting time is appropriate and safe for their condition. We do our best to get patients seen as quickly as possible.
