Dr. Leah Soderman is a board-certified veterinary internist and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in zoology from the State University of New York at Oswego and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital, Dr. Soderman pursued a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include gastroenterology, endocrinology, hepatology, and immune-mediated diseases. Dr. Soderman is a member of both the Comparative Gastroenterology Society and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and she has published research on gastric parasitic infections in dogs in the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association.
