Dr. John Lucy is a board-certified veterinary internist and part of the Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine team at Oradell Animal Hospital. He earned his BS in Animal Science from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital, followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine at Cornell. He joined Oradell in 2016.
Dr. Lucy’s professional interests include endocrinology, hematology/immunology, and hepatology, and he provides specialized care including I-131 therapy for feline hyperthyroidism. He is a member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the Society for Comparative Endocrinology, and the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association.
