Dr. Carol Carberry is a surgical specialist who combines advanced techniques with genuine compassion for her patients. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital, and returned to Cornell for a residency in surgery.

Dr. Carberry’s professional interests include soft tissue surgery, and she has authored numerous publications on topics such as intestinal and gastric volvulus, limb amputation, trauma, oncology, and congenital defects. Her goal is always to help pets heal comfortably and return to the active, joyful lives they deserve.

She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, and—true to her lighthearted side—the World Clown Association.

Dr. Carberry’s philosophy toward her career can be summed up simply: “I’ve never worked a day in my life.” Her passion for surgery and her love for animals make every day deeply rewarding.
