    Emergency Veterinarian

    The Oradell Animal Hospital, located in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking applicants for an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian to join our team.  Come join a progressive group of veterinarians and an exceptional team of technicians where our goal is to provide the highest quality patient care and client service.  We provide an environment that promotes learning and teaching opportunities through case collaboration, intern and resident training, and continuing education.

    Hospital Description: The Oradell Animal Hospital has been providing small animal care for the residents of northern New Jersey for 58 years.  The hospital is located in a highly populated area that provides a clientele committed to quality pet care. We are a full service, AHAA accredited hospital with 60 veterinarians including interns, residents, general practitioners and board certified specialists in Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Cardiology, Surgery, Nutrition, ABVP, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Radiology, Neurology, and Emergency and Critical Care Medicine.  Our 24-hour facility has a very busy emergency service, which provides a full and interesting caseload.  Oradell Animal Hospital is a VetCOT certified Level II Veterinary Trauma Center, as well as a certified Level II VECCS Facility.  Our 1200 square foot Critical Care Unit is a highly equipped, state of the art facility that includes 4 oxygen cages, a Puritan Bennett 840 ventilator, a Mindray DPM6 monitor for continuous cage side monitoring, multiple point of care testing capabilities, and a Mindray Central Station for continuous ECG monitoring via telemetry.

    The hospital’s location supports a wide variety of entertainment and recreational interests.  Bergen County allows easy access to New York City, the charming beaches of the New Jersey shore and a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, camping and skiing. 

    Qualifications: Candidates must have completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery.  Qualified applicants are expected to be highly motivated and able to participate in our team setting. 

    Small Animal Internal Medicine Veterinarian

    Presently there are four internists on staff, and we are seeking a fifth.  Board certification is preferred; however, we will consider individuals with credentials accepted by the ACVIM.  Third year residents are encouraged to apply.

     

    State of the art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment includes on site MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy.

    Veterinary Cardiologist

    Oradell Animal Hospital (OAH) is seeking applicants for a full time position in Cardiology.

    The cardiology service at OAH has an impeccable reputation and draws a busy case load from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. We also have a longstanding relationship with the North Shore Animal League of America on Long Island New York, one of the largest no-kill shelters in the nation.  Presently, we have one cardiologist on staff, as well as a cardiology resident.  Board certified applicants for a staff cardiology position are preferred; however, we will consider individuals with credentials accepted by the ACVIM.  Third year residents are encouraged to apply.

    Our cardiology service is staffed Monday-Saturday and collaborates with all areas of the hospital. Our Emergency/Critical Care service is responsible for all hospitalized patients of all services after hours and on Sundays. The ECC service is staffed 24hrs a day by board certified critical care specialists as well as critical care residents and interns.  

    OAH has a well-established cardiology residency program that is entering its 12th year.  In addition, OAH has an established internship program (40 years in existence) and emergency/critical care residency program.  We are currently staffed by 11 interns and 6 residents, and all staff members contribute to the education of our interns and residents.  In addition, OAH holds regular continuing education opportunities for local veterinarians and also host the Northern New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association meetings.

     

     

     

     

    Veterinary Neurologist

    Presently there are two part time board certified Neurologists on staff and we are seeking a third. Board certification is preferred; however, we will consider individuals with credentials accepted by ACVIM.

    State of the art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment includes on site MRI, CT, and instrumentation for neurosurgery.
