COVID-19 Update – Masks Optional
On March 7th, 2022, the New Jersey State Public Health Emergency expired. Therefore, masks are no longer required in most indoor and outdoor settings but strongly recommended for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals where there is increased risk, including:
- crowded indoor settings
- indoor settings involving activities with close contact with others who may not be fully vaccinated,
- indoor settings where the vaccine status of other individuals in the setting is unknown
- where an individual is immunocompromised or at an increased risk for severe disease
As of Thursday, March 10th, 2022, masks are no longer required, but instead recommended, for both our clients and team members.
It is important as a community that we continue to practice strategies that help reduce the spread of COVID-19 such as: frequent hand washing, physical distancing when possible, and getting vaccinated and boosted. If you feel ill, are running a fever, or are quarantining for Covid-19, please call us to discuss the options for having your pet seen.
